Wich 10 round magazine for the range - Tapco Intrafuse or Magpul Moe?

Hello,

for the moment i'm using 10 round Korean steel mag's for my saiga to shoot at the range. But after a couple times of use they loose their varnish and the metall comes out and get rough so they wont't slide in as smooth as before. It's really tricky to get them in so i want to change the mags. Now i'm looking for 10 round polymer mags - for range only. Wich one would you prefer and why:

Tapco Intrafuse or Magpul Moe (without steel inlays)? The price is about the same.

What do you think about the "FAB Defense Ultimag AK 10R" - 10 round magazine? Maybe this is an alternative...

Thank you and best regards!

Corin

Tapco is sufficient for your intended use, but I’d suggest looking for some Chinese 10 rounders. You can usually find some on the mp.

Bad-Element cut downs.

either the tapco or the magpuls will work fine for range use........id personally get the Magpul......because being seen with a Magpul mag is always more respectable than being seen with a Tapco!

Smooth out the Koreans with a file or 300 grit emery paper etc.
There is no reason that wear should affect insertion to any degree.
Maybe sharp corners in the mag well etc..

I agree with AKBLUE. Smooth out what is hanging up. Nothing should be so tight that it binds up when changing magazines.

the guy says he is in germany in his profile. MP is probably not an option for him..

Both the Magpul and Tapco mags work fine for me. I had to do some tweaking to the Korean magazine that I have...smoothed out the sharp edges as noted above. I think that I had to smash the top rear of the magazine with some pliers a bit. I also replaced the follower with a bolt-hold-open follower.

Actual 10 round Chinese/ norinco mags are hard to find. 5 round mags you can find all day long.

Try the arsenal 10rd poly mags. They are actually a five round mag but have a plus five follower. It's a little bit longer than the Bulgarian waffle five round but not as long as the korean ten rounders.

Norinco 5/10 rounders. The 10s can be difficult to locate but the 5s are pretty easy and can be made into 10s by cutting the follower. They both use the same mag body.

Circle tens as euroking99 mentioned
Why?
They're just badass
Green ones and black ones

Whatever is cheapest and works.

I have and use four Korean 10rd mags at the range. Not a problem with them what so ever...You can find them all over for $9.99 each...

The magpul 10 rounder is gtg on a rest.

wormraper 12-03-2017 07:05 AM

both will do just fine for range mags. Just buy which ever one is cheaper and don't look back. hell, buy a couple of both if you really want. you can never have too many mags

I've ran 10round Magpuls on rest. Work great and they're cheap.
Picked them up for $7-8 on sale a while back.

I agree both should work fine. I prefer Chicom 10s or Hungarian 20s for the range but they can be expensive. Never had an issue with the Korean 10s either and they can be had on the cheap.
