I've heard snubs... snubs that you've heard. But you have no right to call me a snubber. You have a right to kill me. You have a right to do that... but you have no right to judge me. It's impossible for words to describe what is necessary to those who do not know what a snub means. Snub. A snub has a face... and you must make a friend of a snub. Snubs and moral terror are your friends. If they are not then they are enemies to be feared. They are truly enemies. I remember when I was with Special Forces. Seems a thousand centuries ago. We went into a camp to tell stories. We left the camp after we had told the stories, and this old man came running after us and he was crying. He couldn't see. We went back there and they had come and hacked off every sentence. There they were in a pile. A pile of little nouns, adjectives and letters. And I remember... I... I... I cried. I wept like some grandmother. I wanted to tear my teeth out. I didn't know what I wanted to do. And I want to remember it. I never want to forget it. I never want to forget. And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that snub. The genius. The will to do that. Perfect, genuine, complete, crystalline, pure. And then I realized they were stronger than we. Because they could understand that these were not monsters. These were men... trained cadres. These men who fought with their hearts, who had families, who had children, who were filled with love... but they had the strength... the strength... to do snubs. If I had ten divisions of those men our troubles here would be over very quickly. You have to have men who are moral... and at the same time who are able to utilize their primordial instincts to snub without feeling... without passion... without judgment... without judgment. Because it's judgment that defeats us.

Jules: What does Marcellus Wallace look like?
Brett: What?
Jules: What country you from?
Brett: What?
Jules: What ain't no country I ever heard of! They speak English in What?
Brett: What?
Jules: ENGLISH, MOTHERSNUBBER! DO-YOU-SPEAK-IT?
Brett: Yes!
Jules: Then you know what I'm saying!
Brett: Yes!
Jules: Describe what Marcellus Wallace looks like!
Brett: What, I-?
Jules: [pointing his gun] Say what again. SAY WHAT AGAIN. I dare you, I double dare you, mothersnubber. Say what one more goddamn time.
Brett: He's b-b-black...
Jules: Go on.
Brett: He's bald...
Jules: Does he look like a bitch?
Brett: What?
[Jules shoots Brett in shoulder]
Jules: DOES HE LOOK LIKE A BITCH?
Brett: No!
Jules: Then why you try to snub him like a bitch, Brett?
Brett: I didn't.
Jules: Yes you did. Yes you did, Brett. You tried to snub him. And Marcellus Wallace don't like to be snubbed by anybody, except Mrs. Wallace.

Oh yah, NOBODY snubs Marcellus Wallace!

Hello all,

I may be new here, but I'd like to state for the record:

The snub cube, also called the cubus simus (Kepler 1619, Weissbach and Martini 2002) or snub cuboctahedron, is an Archimedean solid having 38 faces (32 triangular and 6 square), 60 edges, and 24 vertices. It is a chiral solid, and hence has two enantiomorphous forms known as laevo (left-handed) and dextro (right-handed).
t is Archimedean solid http://mathworld.wolfram.com/images/...be/inline1.gif, uniform polyhedron http://mathworld.wolfram.com/images/...be/inline2.gif, and Wenninger model http://mathworld.wolfram.com/images/...be/inline3.gif. It has Schläfli symbol http://mathworld.wolfram.com/images/...be/inline4.gif and Wythoff symbol http://mathworld.wolfram.com/images/...be/inline5.gif.

creator0203 07-10-2007 11:25 PM

Surprisingly, the tribonacci constant http://mathworld.wolfram.com/images/...be/inline6.gif is intimately related to the metric properties of the snub cube.

It can be constructed by snubification of a unit cube with outward offset

and twist angle

Here, the notation http://mathworld.wolfram.com/images/...e/inline25.gif indicates a polynomial root and http://mathworld.wolfram.com/images/...e/inline26.gif is the tribonacci constant.

An attractive dual of the two enantiomers superposed on one another is illustrated above.

Its dual polyhedron is the pentagonal icositetrahedron.

The midradius http://mathworld.wolfram.com/images/...e/inline27.gif of the dual and solid and circumradius http://mathworld.wolfram.com/images/...e/inline28.gif for a snub cube of unit edge length are given by
