Details on build page 4 but the hinge bolted right to the bumpski adapter(which is what you need to replace the wire stock). And its an original polish tantal brake. The brake has enough room for the 7.62 to fly by without touching the brake.

hey guys, I recently bought the AMD 65 stock and Bumpski adapter block, everything is working great. The only thing is, I notice a small gap between the receiver and adapter (maybe 1/8 inch at most) Has anyone encountered this, or know a remedy?

Default AMD 65 stock adapter

looking to do a similar set up like the one below but I do not want the folding stock.

Does anyone know of a good stock adapter that mounts and is secured by the pistol grip?

looking for something like the picture attached.

My modified AMD65 wearing Hungarian Wood HGs instead of the Magpul 870 MOE I had fitted originally.

Don't hate me...

AMD-65 first built in pistol form with a shortened AKM gas tube and a modified AK-100 series forearm , then I added a Sig Brace, then a sidefolding block with the Sig Brace...

then the BATF changed their opinion on shouldering a pistol.

then I just rebuilt it into a modernized AK and I've got to say...

it runs good, real good.

Not done yet, going to mount a lightweight optic on it, and I'm thinking a Flat Earth paint job yet to come.

My AMD65 in its current configuration. I call it the J•AK Carbine.

Started like as a Clearwater AMD65 with the crappy barrel and the huge gas port.

The barrel was replaced with a 14.37 inch 4150 Nitrided barrel from AK builder, welded the AMD brake to make it 16 inches. Added an Ultimak and a TRS25, Magpul furniture, Triangle stock and finished it in ,Disruptive Grey".

I'm digging it!

Just a plain Jane 12.5".
It came with the kit.
If money were no object I'd go with og barrel, then nitride, then chrome lined, but I've come to the conclusion that any barrel will suffice.
