My FFL buddy has 2 new in box PAK-9's in stock. He's only asking $325 each shipped to your FFL.

PM me if you want one & I'll get you in touch with him.

$325 sounds amazing., slide a brace under the grip. Couple years from now these will be $900+ on gunbroker.

I think any reliability issues will be mag related. You can buy cheap knock offs with weak springs that are known to hang up regardless of platform, or you can spend 3x as much on OEM beretta mags for peace of mind. At the end of the day, it's a half price alternative to the CZ Scorpion Evo with mags that are readily available. The Glock mag adapter is another bonus. It's not going to win any beauty contests but that hasn't stopped it from selling out.

I put one on backorder a few weeks ago when I bought my Pak-9. Chiappa called me yesterday to let me know they were shipping it out. My suggestion is to call Chiappa and order it directly from them. I think mine was approx. $30 shipped.

I wonder when Chiappa will put parts up on their site for this. I'd like to just buy a bolt/carrier.

Anyone have any photos of their bolt? I'm trying to see how it looks compared to the other 9mm AK's.

I see on their website that they make a full size .22LR version of this that's built like a real AK as well. Anyone seen any of those in a store yet?

great video. faith restored. mine had two shallow dots next to the hole. I peened the hole myself and staked a corner after watching your first video. malfunctions were probably the crappy mags it comes with. mine shot 100 rounds through two beretta 32s fine on its first go round.

thank you for this, no one else is doing shooting videos besides the one guy showing trigger mods and his galil sb47.

Probably one of those most unattractive firearms I've ever seen.

Blowback 9mm franken ak? No interest from me. Rangetoy worthy to some? I can see that. Still $400 can buy you a real nice used 9mm pistol, which is what i would do.

I have one. Very accurate. It is not a frankengun. They are made in Romania on Romanian xy receivers in the CUGIR factory by Nova MODUL.

Youre missing the cool factor
I can load my glock 26 ar15 and AK pistol now with the same glock mags in three different weapons with different operations and abilities. For the guy who has enough $400 handguns this is a refreshing toy not everyone has or will have. I highly doubt these will be imported forever and their price will eventually reflect that

Perhaps franken was the wrong word. It's interesting, but to me another 9mm pistol or micro draco is more interesting. Just my .02. I didn't intend to come off harsh about the gun.

I take no offense. It is what it is that's for sure. My first 9mm rifle styled pistol. I couldnt afford the other AK 9mms from Atlantic and kr9s will most likely never get here so it was a good buy for me. Its not a bad gun though that's for sure . its well made

I keep coming back to this pistol.

As it seems our dreams of a Vityaz or a Vityaz-esk pistol are not going to happen any time soon, I am considering one of these.

If only someone would produce a better looking handguard for it!

I can change the grip, add a brace and thread the barrel, but that handguard...

I would get get one. I have one and love it. If you get one I would recommend getting a pistol brace and red dot. It's basically the poor man's SBR. I've shot a few hundred rounds and have yet to have any failures including when bump firing. The hand guard sucks but you'll learn to get over it like I did.

I too have been looking at these for weeks. If I could get one with wood furniture, surplus grip, and kak blade I would be on board even if it was $500

That furniture just makes me cringe though
