Well classic has James River Armory builds in RPK M72 for 799. I would buy that over Century any day

Assuming looking for a used price? New way better build for $799, so knock $99 off for a way lesser used build? Terrible math on that one. I say $500-$600 for a sucker who wants a Century.

Is the barrel US or Original? If original it might help with sale, as decent original M72RPK barrels are not very common these days.

JRA would be new with warranty. Any CAI would be used and long out of warranty. So even if equal quality, you have a safer bet with the JRA.

However, I'd say JRA has better fit+finish compared with the CAI, at least on average.

Agreed the CAI has a very boring matt grey and gritty park job, and the furniture was pretty heavily sanded to remove any wear/damage, so aka any character (or serials).

Not sure about the JRA when it comes to serials matching or not, but can just about promise that any CAI will not even come close to having all (or any) matching serials.

CAI was built on a Nodak receiver, at least the ones we had, which is a good thing I'd say.
All had US mfg barrels by Green Mtn.

I really like the M72B1, but it needs to have a blued finish and its 100% cool to let the wood have some signs of wear and tear. Afterall, these guns saw some pretty heavy use.

RPKs rule.

Hang some garlic off the barrel and tell 'em it's Romanian. BTW, I like my Yugo JRA M72B1 better than my Romanian AES10B. Might be the barrel length difference, haven't quantified exactly why just yet. The JRA did arrive already zeroed in at 50 yards.
