I have one of their Mpi km East German builds and I really like it. Solid build.

I can't speak for the Russian builds, but the Yugo stuff has been hit or miss.

Files members who own 1 or 2 various JRA builds and who badmouth them now, risk diminishing the value of these rifles when they go to resell them later.

A member here had a build that closed on a No go, and their yugo RPK's are spotty.

I'd pass.

I thought about picking one up myself but passed since I could never find out whose barrels they are using.

I pick mine up tomorrow from being repaired. If they made it right, I'll reflect that in my posts about JRA. I have been cognizant about what I post and it's not like me to bad mouth someone. However, if I'm paying close to a grand for a rifle and it's not right, you bet your ass I'm voicing my opinion about it!

They should stick to M1-type rifles.

Their AK's are questionable.

I was also told a few years back Arsenal was THEE best, couldn't go wrong. 6-700rds after inboxing a SLR107 it had to be sent right into the shop: wasn't ejecting rds, wasn't firing, etc. I have never said a word about it, btw, doesn't make me crtical of Arsenal really either. I just learned to take opinions with a grain of salt.

I have one of the first batch (new or unissued, matching number kits) Atlantic carbines which is just a beautiful rifle. The trunnion had some roughness to it but it’s merely cosmetic.
I did finally get a chance to shoot it and zero it this last week and it performed very well. Took about 50 rounds to get the new barrel to settle down and start producing some better, consistent groups. Roughly 2.5-3.5 MOA with a 4x optic.
The gun is exceptionally smooth and because of the weight, recoil is quite minimal
All in all, I’m very pleased.
