Default Mini vs micro Draco poll

Which do you prefer and why (size, sight preference, handguard preference, etc)?

I plan on getting one of the two and adding a folding blade and putting it in a backpack as a truck gun. I understand there are better options but I want one of the two

Subscribing....Planning on getting one too. I picked Mini because it is a compromise between the the three. Don't think I would like the hokey hadguard on the micro, and the regular draco is too long IMO.

SLR rifleworks has a handguard that works on the micro Draco

On another note, OP, you are missing the only logical poll choice: BOTH

Well that is always an option. But I can only buy one right now, so maybe I will change it to which to buy first?

I'm still mad that I didn't know about these when they were $400

I think the micro is too short and will essentially become a flashbangs each time you use it. They make smg’s for a reason but any foreign made Draco is good. I’d opt for the regular Draco or get the even better m92. Its 1 inch longer than an mp5.

Micro, IMO is a novelty item you get when you run out of more important things you need to get. If I was choosing solely between the Micro or Mini, I would go Mini hands down. If I already had a Mini or M92, id get the Micro as funds allowed just for the fuck of it, but it would not be a priority.........which is what i plan on doing

Another vote for both.. I have both and prefer shooting the mini because it has a red dot. That'll probably change though when the micro gets a red dot. Just need to decide if I want a Midwest industries or RS Regulate mount.

Personally I prefer the manticore arms setup.

Or the Krebs.

Either way, mini or full-size. But the minis are capable of hits on steel at 300 easily. Very accurate.

Got me thinking now.

I wonder if I could Mod one of the hand guards meant for the mini or micro on a Pak9....

I don't care for the Micro's rear sight that's integrated into its non-hinged top cover and I'm not fond of holding onto the mags like a vertical grip while firing because the Micro's handguards are uncomfortably small.

I do imagine the Micro being carried via a close lanyard-sling (perhaps under a London Fog jacket) and firing one handed. It's got to be an incredible flame thrower at night, surely worth the price for admission

.

Well when I started this poll I was set on the micro but after hearing your opinions and watching a few more reviews I ordered the mini. The micro will have to be next

Still want a micro but will not pay $1k for one. I do LOVE my mini SBR. It has been 100% reliable.

I have to say that looks awesome. I would prefer that 10x over the folding blade I will be getting, but I am too impatient to go through the paperwork for the sbr

What did you use to darken the handguard?

They had 3 Micros in stock yesterday at 5am, all gone by noon, priced at $749. I almost bought one but it doesn't accomplish anything that my Mini doesn't already fulfill. Besides, there other stuff I want!

Grabagun has been having the micro on and off for $660 shipped the last week but that is more than I wanted to spend. I got the mini for $636 shipped. I was hoping for $600 shipped or less but I am too impatient to wait and see if prices go back down

I must have missed that. Every time I have a chance to buy one I convince my self that it's not worth the price.
