Finally brought mine home last night. What a sweet rifle for the price ($1,050ish shipped). Best bang for the buck quality AR on the market in my opinion. As a lefty, the ambi lower is a thing of beauty. This will spoil me on all other AR's! Will most likely swap out the PRS stock in favor of a CTR and save it for an upcoming .308 build. In summary, couldn't be happier and can't wait to try her out.

I got that exact model a few weeks ago. By far the nicest AR I have ever held. I need to sell the stock tho. It puts the weight of the rifle at over 9lbs! Ill get a BCM Sopmod stock and reduce it quite a bit. Anyone need a Magpul PRS in FDE?

Definitely agree on this being one of the nicest AR's I've ever held. Also agree on the PRS stock. It sure is heavy! I think it would be more at home on a long-distance build, so I'll either sell it and recoup ~$200 or save it for an upcoming .308 build. With a carbine stock like a Magpul CTR, this will be my ideal AR.

That is what I am going to do. Move it over to my LMT .308 and then putting a MFT Minimalist stock on the LWRC DI.

They go for $230 new on eBay but I see lightly pre-owned/new take offs go for $190-215 on there.

Mine is soon to be in the MP for 200. I haven’t even fired mine yet. They are really nice, really solid. Just heavy for this type rifle

Finally got mine setup the way I wanted. I was waiting on the Troy Industries battle sights in FDE and the PA 3x Prism on GDI R-COM E-Model optic mount. No further upgrades needed going forward. This AR is perfect now.

6.3 lbs but that is with handguard rail covers and angled foregrip. That is with a digital bathroom scale, so +/- that.

Thanks. The MFT Minimalist FDR color is off, so had to go with Scorched Dark Earth. It looks pretty close. Close enough that I'm happy with it.

Good use about the extra bolt and firing pin in the grip. Never thought about shoving them in there.

Scope I got from OpticsPlanet. They had a discount on them when I got mine. For those interested they have $30 off of $250 right now with code 'GIFT4U30'. Definitely a great optic. Clear glass. Great ACSS reticle. Tough as a tank. Right now it is $259.99 so minus $30 and you get a $25 gift card for future purchase.

Yeah not all FDE colors match across manufacturers. So for MFT, their FDE is on the lighter shade of things compared to Magpul's FDE shade. This 'scorched dark earth' version for MFT, is much closer to Magpul's FDE shade. So I read on reviews before ordering and happy that I did as it is a near identical match.

This below graphic helps show differences in shades:

Finally got the PRS stock removed, installed my new buffer tube and CTR stock. Very happy with this setup as-is now. What a sweet rifle from LWRC!

Some people like them and some don't, but I personally love the normal LWRC stock. You might give it a try. It does come in FDE.

It has a small foot on it (the back end) but I'm a big guy and it still fits me well. It lets you get it deep in you shoulder.

Looks good. I couldn't be happier with the Troy Industries BUIS + blem PA Advanced Micro Dot combo. Such great value.

Just figure out what you want to do with the stock. The Magpul MOE SL, MFT Minimalist and a SOPMOD are probably my three favorite stocks at the moment. You could also try out the LWRC stock like NMGuy mentioned.

Here's mine. Finally found a Lancer FDE mag.

One of these came up locally... Thinking about picking it up as my first AR. What do you think? Will this be a good introduction to the platform?

Nice rifle, Burn. Hell of a price too for what you get. I've got a Magpul MOE stock I'll trade you for your PRS, if you decide to switch it out Its a lot a lighter!

Yes you would be happy. A high end AR. Depends how much they want for it.

You could get a new one for that price. Just depends if you want it now (buy it local) or want to get a new one (order online).

I just paid $1,109 shipped from Gun Prime today.
The new M-lok Rail versions are showing up everywhere now for about $100 more if you shop around.

Lots of new colors too. White, red, stone grey with a Spartan logo. Between the two rails and different colors and different stocks there are about a dozen different options. You can pretty much find any one for <$1250. Black Keymod as low as $1089.

The one in that picture is actually the 2.5x but I also own the 3x and 5x on other rifles. I love the PA ACSS Prism optics. Such a great design and value for your money. You can't go wrong with a PA Prism imo.

Just picked it up today.

Hooooooly smokes. This thing is smooth and nice and holy crap. It’s lighter than I expected too. I’m used to AK’s and my CZ Bren. My current go to is a mid length faux dissy with a magpul rifle length hand guard...the LWRC just feels so much lighter and moves so much more naturally.

I did not expect it to be this nice. I’m impressed.

Not if PSA would send me some sights...
