All I can say is that hopefully Century is interested in taking advantage of the lack of AK imports and start bringing back Cugir's extended catalog. AES-10b's, PSL's, WASR 2/3's and UF's. People will buy these!

I also am interested in buying the full catalog of Romanian AK offerings. Currently I have a SAR-1 and Draco, but would like an underfolder for sure, and maybe an RPK if it wasn’t too expensive.

I am however not actually interested in this Draco rifle, especially since I own a Draco. Now if it had an underfolder stock... ;-)

After having both a Draco and WASR I’m very tempted here due to the paratrooper being
so different a variant. Damnit man!

Not really.
Most ppl on here looking at these are talking chop/in it,
Take a wasr and replace GB with combo,chop/pin,sell fsb. ...dam close

Or buy draco, and fixed stock and pin muzzle extension

It looks remarkably similar in shape to the ACE. Is it just me? I know there’s a world of difference but I can’t stop seeing Ace with wood furniture.

All of those options are far more expensive than just buying this unless you just have an extra WASR/Draco and the parts/skills to know how to do it.

Atlantic, TY for ordering/ offering these Imports on the U.S. market! Much appreciated, this configuration is very appealing(atleast to me anyways!). I look forward to seeing some reviews on these great looking Romanian rifles!
If I was going to bitch, which I'm not. I would ask that these be equipped with a traditional open front sight. I'm not a fan of the closed front AK sight.

Usually 'Paratrooper' denotes a folding stock.

Does the front sight/gas block have a detent notch if you decide to SBR it or would you just use a crush washer? This is very interesting. Could make a very nice SBR with some work.

Some people are commenting as if these are new or something. I dont quite get it. These are the same at the M10 and RH10. It's a WASR with a FS/GB. That said, I have yet to own a M10 that I disliked.

The only thing interesting about these when compared to the M10 and RH10 is that the side rail looks to be.set at the correct height. I have no idea why Romarm went with that dumbass side rail on those models, but I'd love to hear an explanation.

It has the channel for the detent, but no detent installed... for obvious reasons.

It has to have the 16 inch barrel for import reasons obviously. Cut the barrel down and stick a side folding stock on it and its an exact copy of what the Romanians are currently producing on the military side. Take a look for yourself. http://romarm.ro/en/product_category/infantry-weapons/

That is because the Draco is a pistol and does not have to go through the 922r BS to be imported. This gun is made for the American market, non dimpled, with the modifications done for a hi cap just like the WASR's, at least Romania/Cugir is trying to make new AK offerings for our market.

Would be cool to get a low digit one...but I am never that lucky..

I like the stock, threaded FSB and finish better on the WBP.
That being said, IMHO the Paratrooper is the best bang for the buck.
So if I pull the trigger it will be on the Paratrooper.
And my hands are shaking as I reach for my wallet

Love the looks- l would add a rear peep site like the AKtech site to this

Atlantic, are there any models of firearm we may get that the market hasn’t seen yet? Like an M91 would be incredible or M21
