Default AK AK AK AK AK AK AK AK AK AK

Without question, 2015 is the year of the AK for me. I am making up for lost time my friends! I want to thank the forum collective for all your insight + the wealth of knowledge that lies within these forums. You are a blessing + a curse in my life!

Without further ado, I present to you my humble selection of AK's.

At the present moment, I have another "Iraqi Contractor" WASR 10 + Draco pistol that are expected to arrive to my FFL next week. From this point + forward, I will continue to purchase as many factory made + imported rifles. At the top of my list are the AES10B's (wink, wink)! What other factory made + imported rifles would you folks recommend to me?

Any combloc factory built or even #s matching parts kits/builds with original barrels, that you can find a good deal on.... But a vepr 12 looks like it is calling your name though! If no vepr than definitely something dark and sexy, maybe a bulgy 104/107?

You're on the right path, CommBloc, all you can afford...and some you can't, but buy them anyway.

Here's my, go CommBloc, or go home collection....

Maybe add a Russian made one? Saigas are pretty spendy these days but I'm pretty happy with my new addition to my collection. Unlucky for my checkbook there is a badass gunstore not far from me specializing in AKs. There is always something to tempt me. Nice collection you have going!

SGL series guns are great. Also any correctly converted Saiga is good to go too. Might not be cosmetically correct for the type (100 series) but will shoot the same.

Add a few veprs. At 600$ theres alot of rifle available for the money. Combloc reciever and heavy barrel. Butter smooth action. Trigger in correct place. Slant reciever is fixable if you desire.

I have been keeping a close eye to the Cheap kits and barrels thread by TheGreek!. You are spot on with your calling my friend! As a matter of fact, I purchased the first wave of release in November of 2012 from Atlantic Firearms but I sold it a year later to fund the purchase of second home. I have every intention of replacing her by this years end! With regards to the Bulgarian, I am contemplating the purchase of a SLR107FR but I am unsure if I should opt for the plum variant or the traditional black. Only time will tell!

Brilliant minds think alike! At the present moment, I am working on a local deal for a slightly used SGL. If all else fails, I will purchase one via one of the forums or GunBroker. Thank you for your input!

The N-PAP DF is easily my second favorite of the bunch. The fit + finish is superb if I might add. Thank you for the kind remark.

On the double my friend! I have 60 steel 30 round milsurp magazines en route to me from SG Ammo + CDNN in this coming week. It is a start but I have every intention of building out my core with every opportunity I get.

The SGL is at the top of my list currently. Thank you for the kind remarks + input my friend.

With that said, I will begin to conduct due diligence on my end on their offerings. Thank you for enlightenment sir.

Great photos here !
In my opinion the best buy and the best quality at this time is the Vepr's in different calibers. These are not made from kits rifles with amazing quality, finish, and oh yes accuracy !

Your wish is my command! I have officially added a Arsenal SGL 21-61 to the collection. She was sourced locally via Armslist for $1.2K. In addition to the rifle, I received 400 rounds of ammunition, 8 magazines, + a magazine chest pouch. All I am lacking at this point are Bulgarian Circle 10 magazines + to put her through her paces at the range!

Nice rifle, for the SGL I'd suggest some polymer AK-103 Ribbed mags, Russian slabsides and some bakelite.

Excellent pickup. I agree, get some 103 mags. There are 2 or 3 people selling them in our MP and JesticeArms has them in stock also.

I also added a new AK to my collection pictured above. The Krink has been one of my "have to have' AK's for a long time. Gonna Form 1 it.

Well played. $1200 is a decent deal with all the goodies it came with. Plus it's Arsenal not FIME.....not that is matters in terms of rifle quality. Now go get yourself a 5.45 so the bug can have a slight change in table fare.

I wholeheartedly agree with you my friend! Additionally, I was able to personally inspect it + I did not have to deal with the hassle of shipping, paying tax, a transfer fee, or a background check.

Two weeks ago, I placed a Arsenal SLR-107FR on layaway at Atlantic Firearms. My timing proved to be impeccable as they were SOLD OUT the following day. She will be home at the end of the month and I look forward to running her side by side to the SGL-21.

Thanks. I know I'm late to the game, but I'm going to get into 5.45 more since I got the Krink. Next will probably be an SLR104fr.

I am ecstatic to say the least! I almost purchased a Arsenal SLR-101S two years ago but I never got around to it. I have been secretly lusting for one ever since!
