As far as rommy I already have 3x wasr and a sar1 in the Looking for some variety.
Got Russia and mutt (m70ab2) covered. (Sam7uf layaway down to $100.)
Considering slr95

Except for the top cover, the weird markings, the thumbhole, it looks suspiciously a lot like my Romy SAR mil export. Color, riveting, trunnion date and number markings. And my current is hands down top 3 AKís Iíve had when it comes to consistancy, quality and craftmanship. I mean, IF you can get a Romy top cover and a normal stock on that thing, Iíd take it at that price.
And as for the fucked up side mount, you can always fuck that off.

As others have stated this is is a WUM-1. The very earliest Romanian imports from Intrac in 1997. Some had straight cut receivers while others had angle cut like the one in the link. Angle cut ones will accept standard AKM furniture but there will be more wood showing than normal. Google for pics. They also used oddly enough EG cast gas blocks with unfinished bayonet lugs. The rail is a SVD rail and not the typical AK side rail so normal AK side mounts won’t work. Very good guns but since it’s angle cut, there may be better options. Straight cuts fetch bigger money since these are built on actual AKM receivers unlike the SARs, CURs, and WASRs that are built on AIMS receivers.

Here’s mine. Note that I have not switched the gas block out yet to a true Romy one with the finished bayonet lug.

Yep a WUM-1. When I ordered my WUM-1 from an Ad in SGN in 99, it luckily arrived as a ROMAK-1. My receiver was square cut but my muzzle threads were ground down. Mine had an ugly thumbhole stock on it as well. Now it doesn't.

Yeah, he explained that in the post you quoted...

They were left unfinished so they wouldn't be considered a bayonet lug at all... one less "evil" feature to worry about. - -
