just requesting, inquiring minds wanna know!
I think he is doubting that Arsenal Bulgaria would bother to ship "a handful" of rifles to the states. Not worth their time or effort. The rifles been here for a while.

not necessarily the origin of the SLR's didn't come from Bulgaria

What a very cool move to make these! If I wanted a first rate new milled receiver this is what I'd buy hands down no brainer. If it's made as well as the Classic and CG1, and no reason to think otherwise, they don't make no junk. If I didn't have milled covered by my SAM's I'd be buying 2 of these as soon as they 're available. Can't wait to hear from the ones that buy and shoot them.

The rifles are sporting a Polish Hammer Forged FB Radom Radom barrel

If you would like to install a muzzle nut that is easily done by the end shooter should they desire but most like the traditional slat brake.

I have to say, it looks nice, but when i see a “classic” milled AK with an AKM barrel I am put off... the pustol grip can be replaced but the barrel can’t, not easily at least. Still looks like a great gun.

Yeah, a milled AK with an AKM barrel and FSB looks transgendered! Now if they could get Radom to do a run of Type 3 profile barrels and use the correct FSB it would be phenomenal. What would be even better would be if they duplicated the AK47N optical rail for the gun.

Radom will not do a small run of special barrels they are currently tied up with their new Polish service rifle, We are not trying to create an exact Milled copy and do not care to. We are combining the proven WBP parts with Random barrel and milled received to offer another OPTION for the Kalashnikov shooter. These rifles are in the testing phase at this time not in production yet.

Haven't even fired my new CG1 yet, and I'm lusting after the unreleased milled version.

Yes, it is indeed a sickness.

I assume we should expect them to be priced right there with the SAM-7?

But with a much better looking finish.

Picked up my new Atlantic WBP CG1 on Friday. Put over 250 rounds through it on Sunday.
What an awesome rifle! I have never had so many people at my club come up and ask about a gun! After getting hot it's a 2-3 MOA with a red-dot at 100 yards rifle all day long. Fit and finish is excellent. All my steel mags fit and function flawlessly except the Korean 40 rnd (probably the mag itself). This will be the first AK that I will not change the stock or hand guards. It IS a beautiful smooth AK. I am incredibly satisfied so far!
Great job Atlantic!

Lmao, they already do, because people believe they're necessary and that's all they need to continue chipping the block.

OP, personally I'd go Arsenal, but that's because I'm an Arsenal snob. All depends on what you want, not other people.

Using it as Atlantic bait to see area 51 pipeline products (successfully).......beaten to death? perhaps. savvy? perhaps.....can always go to another thread or non-AK topic if you're that annoyed or offended.

Factory produced foreign made AK everyday of the week over a parts kit build from the US. Not saying the WBP line isn't nice, IT IS, but for me personally, I'd take the Arsenal.

If you want milled I'd agree Arsenal is the choice. If you want stamped however WBP is the better choice. I don't think the SLR's will be back, if they do get some small numbers of them in the undetermined future their price will be more and at the current prices the WBP's at $100 more are the much better choice now and more available. If we ever see 107's again they'll be at a price increase which will make them a lesser choice than now at current prices.
