Put these to Cartels AK thread already so might as well put them here also..

My Sako M92S I bought 1996 (EDIT: forgot to mention that naturally I still have the original FG, I'm just using that B&T railsystem now so I could have AFG and reflex sight, also on the pic is original Sako black polymer mag with lanyard loop):

Below recent additions to my AK sickness (these are bought 2015 - 2016), not done yet...

L to R: Wasr (Tapco stock is gone soon but I like the Magpul FG and it stays, this my G2 rifle and I shoot it the most), ARM Maadi, OPAP, Valmet M62S and VEPR12. Because of "small" logistics problem I doubt I could ever get my Sako to join these other AKs I have..Too bad.

Let's hear some details on that stock. It looks like it's NATO length. Does it hook up with the front latch?

I bought it at Legion USA
https://www.legionusa.com/ak-100-fol...stock-set.html

Standard 5.5 mm russian folding trunnion.

https://www.facebook.com/CWGunwerks/...8925089626628/

It is supposed to latch. It is also on the way back from the smiths today. So, I will know more this evening.

Update:

The buttstock is warsaw length. It matches the length of the russian folder on my ak-103. It folds and latches nicely.

AK-74 built off a 1990 Bulgarian parts kit. This rifle was purchased during the infamous DDI/Waffen Werks $500 blowout sale from Classic Firearms. Mine hasn't given me any problems (so far) with over 1,000 rounds through it. No malfunctions of any kind and no deforming of the ejector. Sounds cliche' I know, but I "guess I got a good one". Doesn't keyhole, either.

1994 Norinco MAK-90 deban project. I really like this gun now.

2014 WASR-10. I wasn't too fond of the parkerized finish so I gave it a BFPU look. Also swapped out the furniture and replaced that plastic Tapco grip screw nut with a surplus one and installed a retainer plate in place of the "paper clip" axis pin retainer spring.

I also did all of the "Jim Fuller Sandpaper Mods" on these, as well. The basic stuff like polishing all the contact points on the FCG, axis pins, rails, safety, etc., re-profiled the G2 hammers, and rounded off the top corners of the rear sight and hit them with some Cold Blue.

Nice. It's probably just the angle and zoom level of the camera that make the stock look long. Thanks for the link.

Awesome post. I love the traditional and "complete" look of all of them. Seriously. Well-done.

If you can't figure out how to make them more convenient, providing links is fine.

Had some blue Paki tape on the upper handguard at one point. Might have to wrap it again because it's got several bad cracks along the top. Furniture is from Atlantic and that beautiful blued mag came from AIM Surplus. Sling came from Russia and smells like gasoline.
