A RPK-S painted in camo. For some reason is very hard to see a RPK in camo. So here is one for you:

Thanks Mike. Hehe the Iraqi's don't know what to make of it :P If I'm a Nazi, republican or white supremacist :P I plan on finding a T shirt print store and do a profile shadow of Trump with the text "God-Emperor". See what people say :P

Clown how do you like running the chest rig over the slick carrier? Im looking to do something along the same lines for my active shooter kit for my patrol car.

Czysz, I love it, I got like 3 different chest rigs and 2 plate carriers depending on what I want to do. It gives me versatility and reliability. It's an extremely flexible kit, of course it's marginally more bouncy than a plate carrier with attached fitted pouches, but compensates for that in flexibility, ease of use, price and access. It's also easier on the shoulders. But I don't use a very stacked rig with the Ak to not get front heavy. If the outing is long, I wear a small daypack with a hydration bladder, babywipes and other stuff, sometimes more ammo and a jacket in the pack, belt with more mags or just a larger aidkit and a dump.

People want to run 15 mags in their vest, but I think it's a waste. IF you can't sort your shit in 5 mags, you're not gonna sort it in 15 kept in supercool tacticool pouches. If you need the extra ammo, you can grab it from a bag.

Since you are policeman, I can tell you that if you run into an active shooter scenario where you need more than 4+1 mag, your training and gear isn't sufficient anyways, and it's time to hunker down and await SWAT. So I strongly advise you to get a slick carrier and a Mayflower chest rig or a Warrior chest rig. They're pretty good and I use both "fo realzzz" (If you use an AR 15 and get a nice chest rig, buy kydex mag inserts with velcro, mags are super secure and easy to pull)

Oh, and don't be afraid to buy your harness/suspenders from a different company than the chest rig, if they don't offer comfortable padding. IT's really important and shoulder pain/fatigue really fucks up your shooting after a couple of hours.

Not to stray too far off topic but I do this type of setup on deployments (Green side USN Corpsman) and use either Haley strategic's DC3R or Esstac setups. perfect to run 3-4 rifle,2 m9 (or Xyences), IFAK, maps and commo. not to mention wonderful to remove when on long ass rucks or hauls w/o dropping ballistic protection. As far as LEO is concerned, I think for a fast action enviroment like an active shooter, this type of setup would be most ideal as it's very quick to don/doff, light and not cumbersome, and very comfortable during vehicle ops or working in confined spaces like housing.

+1 to the comment on guys trying to run 15 mags..... they either have never felt the pains of humping a full combat load on multi-day rucks in austere environments or are the poor bastard carrying the 240....

Does anyone know where the magazine comes from that is in the AK and in the two right mag pouches?
Pattern is like that of the magpul mags but they have a lanyard loop like the SAKO mags.

Noooope. About the "waffle mags". They're some shit found here, plastic follower, made all in plastic, except the bit at the back and the front that "hooks in" to make the mag stay in place. Follower is plastic too. I've heard they're either chinese or Iranian. They come in either black or bright orange.

Czysz, I bought them here locally for 15,000 dinar a mag, about 10 dollars.

Unfortunately we have ITAR to contend with when sending gun parts out of country so more than likely no mags from us.

Yeah I know, Thy militia is extremely "well regulated". Besides, it wouldn't be cost effective either way
