Hi Mike. I use basic US military SAPI size Large. I wish I had Nexus plates but IMO, Nexus, US mil sapi and esapi and Point Blank is the only plates I'd ever use.

I personally don't use them and never will, but I won't tell someone not to use them.

Default Practical Polytech Spiker.

Everything is 100% reversible to stock wood and metal. This is my shooter and this is a practical way of preserving the pristine wood.

Dusted off the "other" shooter, and snapped a couple of the Atlantic WBP CG1.

***For this that might question the grip in California... It's actually not attached.

Rguns.net kit that found it's way to Circle 10. They had Jemak build it using Polish barrel and Childer's receiver. Turned out beautiful. One of the kits that have a matching numbered lower handguard to go along with the rest. It was put up for sale along with 3 other completed rifles last week and I bought it. One of the AK's I have always wanted. Really want a Tula next, but not sure about the accuracy of the remaining parts kits I see available.

The barrel and receiver are exactly what I was thinking of doing. It's a beautiful piece, and hope I can get one built as nice.

Thank you sir! Seems finding a quality kit is a crapshoot. The main reason I jumped on this one is the fact I could see it and judge from there. Looks like Rguns is posting the best of their kits on Gunbroker, that fact makes me even more leery of just buying one off the site without being able to inspect it.

After almost 2 years, TRA finished my M70 re-weld. I have a 2nd set of BFPU M70 wood as well. Really liking the newer style NPap stock.

^^^^ That Galil is friggn sweet

Finshed getting SLR-107FR I recently aquired setup.Went to the range and got the PA MDRDS/SM-13 and iron sights zero'd. Same day did some mag dumps and paint started bubbling real bad . So I said screw it and distressed the whole rifle with 400 grit.

I know Arsenal will repaint it, but I can bake on my own finish later if I want and I like it how it is. Added a light like I do on all my rifles, with a QD mount which I like to do so I can attach/detach as needed without tools.

Got my new trit vials from mixglo too so I re-tritium'd (technical term) the tantal sights I put on. I like putting them on the family go to carbines because unlike tru-glos etc , you get your thinner FSP back in the daylight. Also acquired a real Russian AK-103 brake which is sweet.

I am a 5.45 guy but this rifle has grown on me and for what I paid I couldnt go wrong spending some cabbage on it
