Hi guys! This is my first post. Lot's of great stuff here!

Here is my recently purchased '94 Norinco NHM-91.

Cheers,
Chris

Before:

After:

I replaced the original thumbhole with a Timbersmith US set (might
go ironwood down the road when I have the time to finish one),
a G2 trigger, and TAPCO retainer plate.

Still waiting for a Mojo rear sight, and it needs to have the front sight
straightened slightly and the muzzle cover removed (four welds...
hopefully it won't be too tricky) and replaced with a slant break.

Default My New AK

I just got back into appreciating the AK platform. I traded one of my AR's for this SGL21. I'd like to get some nice wood furnature for it, but for now, this is it.

It's Troy Industries modular, I love it. It's metal, it's hollow for storage, has an o-ring on the cap for waterproofing, and you can change it's length(4 5/8” or 3 1/4”).

HWI - I enjoyed the photo of your AK in the post above. Thanks for the info on the Troy Industries Modular Front Grip. I like front grips on my Ak's and have numerous styles. Also have the same Bulgarian folder that you have, fitted to one of my Romanian 5.45X39 rifles. I have taken a likeing to that stock also.

Freedom - It's all Important.

NP, I really like that Troy Industries grip.
I actually just put the Arsenal stock back on my SGL21, I just couldn't get used to the extra length on that folder. For some reason I have always preferred the Warsaw Pact length. I'll probably end up biting the bullet and chopping the rear tang off to use the Ace receiver block and folding stock, since you can get those in varying lengths, I can get one equal to the Warsaw length.

Nothing like everybody else's but it's new and it's mine as of last week. Arsenal 21 with 1 steel and 1 poly mag along with a condor bag. Walked out the door wallet $941 lighter but thought I got a good deal, best part it was all on my bank card, not a dime on credit.

Have you considered a Romanian or East German side folder? With an AMD65tech top bar you get a good cheek weld, the Warsaw length and don't have to cut your tang. Price for both can be kept below the cost of the ACE if you hunt a bit.

I did not realize that they didn't require the tang being cut, thanks a lot for that info.

Any pointers on places that sell them?
